MAP AND DIRECTIONS
The Venturska Residence is located on the
main promenade of the Bratislava Old Town - the Venturska street.
It is situated in the quiet courtyard of the Academia Istropolitana
- historical building of the first University of Slovakia founded dating back to the 15th century.
Since the Old Town is a pedestrian area only, it can not
be accessed by car. The nearest drop-off point - at the
building of the American Embassy on Hviezdoslavovo Square - is
about 2 minutes walk away. There are several paid underground
garages nearby - e.g. Opera Garage, Ursulinska Garage, Radisson
Hotel Garage. The residence offers arrival and departure transfers
directly to/from the residence (with a vehicle permited to
enter the pedestrian area). Availability and rates will be provided
upon request.

HOW TO GET THERE
From the Bratislava Airport (approx 45 minutes)
Take bus No. 61 to the final stop - Hlavna stanica (Main train
station). The ride takes about 30 minutes. From there follow the
directions as described below.
From the Main Train Station (15 minutes)
Take tram No. 13 to Postova (the 5th stop). Walk in the direction
of the tram rails toward the historical tower - the Michael's
Gate. After passing the tower gate continue down Michalska and
Venturska streets. The residence is located on your right, in
the courtyard of the building No.3 on Venturska street.
From Mlynske Nivy Bus Station (15 minutes)
Take bus No. 70 to the final stop - Novy Most (New Bridge with
the "UFO" tower). Walk toward the high church on your left – the
St. Martin Cathedral. Turn right to Panska street and then left
to Venturska street. The residence is located on your left, in
the courtyard of the building No.3 on Venturska street. |
